After CEAACES made public the results of the evaluation of the 54 Universities and Polytechnic Schools of the country in December 2013 (except the University of the Armed Forces ESPE), they had to present improvement plans (the 46 HEIs located in the categories A, B and C), and institutional strengthening plans (the 8 HEIs located in category D) in accordance with the “Regulations for the Determination of Results of the Evaluation, Accreditation and Categorization Process of Universities and Polytechnic Schools and of its Academic and Institutional Situation ”.
