PEDAGOGICAL SUPERIOR INSTITUTES (ISPED)

In July 2014, the CEAACES Plenary approved the technical report on the evaluation of the ISPEDIB. It also resolved to authorize that the public ISPEDIBs continue to operate within the framework of the Project of Reconversion of the Higher Technical and Technological Education of Ecuador, which is being developed by SENESCYT, for which they had to present a Plan for Institutional Strengthening and Quality Assurance that would allow them , within a maximum period of two years, to reach the quality standards established for its accreditation.

PEDAGOGICAL SUPERIOR INSTITUTES (ISPED)

In 2014, the evaluation of the Higher Pedagogical Institutes is completed and in accordance with the regulations for determining the results of the evaluation process for these institutes, it is determined that all the institutes are in the category of “Non-Accredited” and must submit a Plan Quality Assurance, which guarantees that their students complete their studies with acceptable quality standards.

SUPERIOR INSTITUTES OF ART AND SUPERIOR CONSERVATORIES (ISACS)

During 2014 the institutional evaluation of the Higher Institutes of Arts and Higher Conservatories (ISACS) was carried out. Resolution No. 141-CEAACES-SE-20-2014 proposes the existence of two types of institutes: the “Accredited” and the “In the process of accreditation”. The former must present an improvement plan aimed at progressively reaching the quality standards established by CEAACES; and the latter must present an institutional strengthening plan that allows them to achieve a progressive and comprehensive improvement of those indicators on which they obtained a low level of performance.

UPPER TECHNICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTES (ISTT)

In accordance with the regulations for determining the results of the evaluation process, the Higher Technical and Technological Institutes (ISTT) must comply with the following:

ISTT Accredited must submit an Improvement Plan.
