ACCOMPANIMENT TO HEAD EXTENSIONS

After the process of purification of extensions of HEIs carried out at the end of 2012, the results of which were presented in June 2013, 37 extensions presented improvement plans (extensions located in the “Conditional” and the “Strongly conditioned” groups ), and 39 quality assurance plans (extensions located in the “Not approved” group). These plans were reviewed and approved by CEAACES in 2013. For 18 months, CEAACES accompanied the extensions in the development and application of the improvement plan to enhance those indicators that presented deficiencies in the past evaluation. From this group, according to the results of the final extension evaluation reports made in 2015, 31 obtained the category of “Approved” and 6 of “Not Approved”

In the case of quality assurance plans, the purpose is that the extensions of the group of “Not approved” accompany the students until they graduate, with acceptable quality standards.
